Important updates from last cup:
- Heroes can only be trained at the Tavern again, not at your altar. The altar can only be used to revive.
- At the tavern, you will be able to train any hero from any race next to the Tavern heroes
- Maps are added to W3C FLO Custom games and can also be downloaded here if you want to play on BNET.
Dear Warcraft Community!
In this edition of the TAVERN BRAWL, we will try out a new mode by allowing to train any hero from any race as well as the tavern heroes from the tavern! You will not be able to train the hero at the Altar anymore. It will hopefully make up for some new strategies and very interesting and entertaining 2v2 games! You can help with the prize pool at the Matcherino page.

The cup itself will start on Thursday, 18th of February at 19:00 CET.

Prizepool
We have set up this Matcherino page to gather donations for a 200$ goal. Any extra money will be used to organize future cups and events.
You can get 0,50$ added for free using code "tavern7" and anyone wishing to become a sponsor of this event and have his/her name displayed during the entire stream during of the cup, consider using the Gold & Silver Cup options in the Marketplace below!
At the same time, I hope every participant can understand that the pool might be lower as its completely depending on the donations on Matcherino. Please also note that there is a small Paypal/Matcherino fee when cashing out the money collected from here.
Format
- Early Rounds and Quarterfinals are played in BO1 Modus. Both players alternately eliminate one map until only one remains (A-B-A-B-A-B). The remaining map will be played. The team mentioned first in the grid starts with the procedure
- Semifinals are played in BO3 Modus. Both players alternately eliminate one map until only three remains (A-B-A-B). The player mentioned first in the grid picks the first map. Afterwards, the loser of the match prior determines the map.
- Finals will be played in BO5 Modus. Both players alternately eliminate one map until only five remains (A-B). The player mentioned first in the grid picks the first map. Afterwards, the loser of the match prior determines the map.
- Please upload all replays into the #replays Discord channel!
- Games will be hosted on the location that provides the fairest conditions to all participants. Admins have the authority to determine the location. If players can't find a host that works for both of them, then the game in a BO1 will be hosted on a EU host, for a BO3 each player can choose one host and a possible third deciding match will be hosted on a EU host. The same principal applies for a BO5 with 2 maps on each host. If possible, try to make use of the new W3C FLO hostbots once available to get the fairest conditions.
- Don't forget to contact us in the Discord channel in case you want to stream this! We allow players to stream their own games and non-English speaking casters to cast in their language, but only if the Cup logo is used on stream! You can find it in the #streamer-overlay-image Discord channel.

Participation
I would like all players to play fair and behave, following the rules outlined in the Rulebook. You can also download the tavern-hero-only maps from there!
Please sign up on the Tavern Brawl #7 Challonge Page. Note that you are required to check in at Challonge and just signing up at Matcherino won't get you access to the cup. Should you win, you need to be signed up on Matcherino as well to transfer the money. There will be a small % fee from Matcherino/Paypal.
Casting
If you are a caster and would like to cast in any other language than English, please note that this is possible if you will use the transparent cup banner. Please reach out to us in the official Discord channel to be confirmed as a caster and invited to the internal game-name Channel. You also have to use the Matcherino overlay and show your audience the marketplace options to contribute to the cup during a suitable time in the break. Thanks :)
If you are a player and would like to cast your games, you are free to do so as long as you use the transparent cup banner image provided in the official Discord channel.
