All the shitposting in the world can't stop us. Some sperg got us moved to /vg/ to die a slow death , but a whole year later and we're still keeping ourselves alive.

This is both a netplay tourney and a party. After all, considering how hard it is to keep a general alive, we've goddamn earned ourselves a celebration. Regulars, new players, passersby, randos from steam lobbies, anyone, and I mean anyone is free to participate in. There is no designated anything or anyone here. If you play GG you have a place in /ggg/.

Here is what's going to happen:

We will have a regular netplay tournament going on for those who wish to participate as usual.

SURPRISE RULES FOR THE ORGANIZATION OF THE TOURNEY

There is no discord server for this tournament.

All announcements for the tournament WILL BE THROUGH /ggg/ ON /vg/

Once seeds have been shuffled, each participant will get a number going from the top of the bracket to the last.

Your number stays the same throughout the tournament and will be used to call you for your next match on /ggg/.

Example:

Next Match: Player #1 vs Player #2, FT2 To Advance

With that said, feel free to post OC, set up your own lobbies, share fan art, tech and whatever else GG related in the general as that is what the general was always for. No poverty fighter lobbies though, that was a red herring.

Once the regular tourney is over, an M.O.M tourney will be held. An impromptu Challonge page for that will be made on a date closer to the celebration.

† - Each round is a Best of Three match

† - Each match is set to Best of Three

† - As always, Double Elimination Rules are in effect

† - The Grand Final match is in 2 match mode. A bracket reset will be required to win if in the losers bracket.

† - All Top 4 Matches are in First to Three format.

Above all else, this is a celebration. Anyone and everyone is encouraged to get on the match """commentary""" and stream as many different streams of the same event as they want. Because in /ggg/ we do whatever the Hell we want and let the shitposters sperg out while we do it.

It's been a Hell of a year. Let's send it off with a bang.
