Welcome to the Splatoon 2 NG+ Tournament 2019! Players of all skill levels are welcome.  Hero Mode NG+ entails completing every level and boss (Minus DJ Octavio) in the main single player campaign, (Octo Canyon) as fast as possible.

Required for Participation:

-You need to have Splatoon 2.

-You need to be able to stream your gameplay (Preferably on Twitch). Webcam recording is allowed!

-Have some experience with speedrunning Splatoon 2. It does not matter what your skill level is, as long as you can beat every level in under 2 hours then you're good to go.

Bracket Layout:

-The tournament format will be double elimination, that way participants will have more than one opportunity to play.

-Seeding will be ranked by the player's personal best without Octavio. (These will be based on the times from the community made Octavioless leaderboard) Link to that here-

- -If you dont have a run on the leaderboard by the time the event starts you will be randomly seeded to keep it fair

Routing/Rules-

-Time will start on entering Octo Canyon.

-All runners are required to run each world in chronological order (starting with 1, 2, ,3, 4, and ending with 5) but you may do levels in each world in whatever order you choose.

-DJ Octavio will be excluded from this tournament because the RNG patterns can produce up to 2 minutes of variation, which is unfair to the runners.

-If commentators notice you intentionally skipping a stage to gain an advantage over the other player, you will immediately forfeit the match or be kicked from the tournament.

-If a player forfeits then their opponent will automatically win and move on.

Players may schedule their own matches, as long as they plan accordingly with their opponent in a reasonable amount of time.
