When / Where to play

• Double Elimination
• Regular Matches are Best 3 of 5
• All Top 8 is Best 3 of 5
• The loser of each game has the option to change character. If the Winner chose Random Select, they must choose Random Select again. 
• All of Top 8 will be on stream with various matches streamed from winner’s side leading up to Top 8.
• The winner of the match is required to report their own score on challonge. If a score is misreported or the player is having difficulty reporting the score due to a technical error please ping the designated TO in the discord to relay the issue.

Connectivity

Our goal is to offer a relatively relaxed tournament that can include as many folks as possible. With that in mind, we don't have any hard requirements for the quality of each player's internet connection. Not every connection is going to be ideal, unfortunately, but hopefully everything is reasonably playable.

That said, our preferred standard is for every player has an upload speed above 5 Mbps and jitter under 6 ms. Connections can be checked at https://speed.cloudflare.com/ 

In the case of serious, unplayable connection issues, please notify the TO right away. The TO will ask both players to submit a screenshot of their results from the connection test linked above; the winner will be determined at the TO's discretion according to connection quality, or by coin flip if necessary.
