Rules:

This tournament is open to players of all levels. 

Format:

5+ players

·         Round robin best of 1

·         Top two players move on to play in the finals best of 7

Less than 5 players

·         Round robin best of 3

·         Top two players move on to play in finals best of 7

Maps picks

Best of 1 - Players will alternate banning maps until one map is left.  Order of banning will be A B B A A B.  A is the top player in the bracket.

Best of 3 – Players will alternate banning maps until one map is left.  Order of banning will be A B B A A B.  A is the top player in the bracket. Loser picks next map, banned may be picked.  

Best of 7 – First game on Eternal Empire

Most Entertaining Game

·         Tournament organizers will pick the top 4-6 games and publish them on our youtube channel on the following Sunday morning.  The video with the most upvotes by the following Saturday morning (10am pacific) will be deemed the winner.

·         Players who would like to submit a game that was not casted for consideration for most entertaining must submit replay to our discord before 11:59pm on the Saturday the game was played.  Submit to Most-Entertaining-Game channel in discord.

·         Winners will be announced at the beginning of the Winner Winner I’ll Buy Your F’ing Dinner cast.

o    Eg. Tournament held on August 15th.  Replays due in discord by 11:59pm on August 15th. Videos uploaded to youtube August 16th. Voting closes August 22nd at 10:00am pacific.  Winner for Most Entertaining game on August 15th will be announced during the August 22nd cast.

General:

·         All games will be played on NA unless alternate server is agreed upon by BOTH players.

·         Check in begins 1 hour prior to tournament start and is required to be included in bracket.  Anyone not checked in at the tournament start time will be DQ'd.

·         In game chat channel “SomeDrunkChicken” will be the primary source of communications and will be used to confirm players presence. In SC2 type /join SomeDrunkChicken

·         If the game reaches a point where neither player can win, the map will be replayed.

·         Winning player will report the outcome of their game to the Challonge page and will submit the game in the #chicken-dinner-replay-submissions discord channel.

 Prizes:

·         1st Place – take out order of $30USD (tax, tip, and delivery service inclusive).

o   If player is outside of the United States the limit is:

§  Canada: $42

§  Euro: 30 euros

§  UK: 25 Pounds

§  Other regions – Currency exchange rate on day of tournament.

o   Player has 1 weeks to send their order to [email protected] and must include:

§  The actual order and what restaurant,

§  Delivery Address and buzzer number if applicable,

§  Preferred delivery service. 

o   Tournament organizer has the right to refuse order if it is not reasonably doable.  In this case the player may pick another restaurant/delivery service.

o   Order must be from a restaurant that uses a delivery service such as Skip the Dishes, UberEats, Foodora, Door Dash, or is able to process payments online.

·         2nd Place – Automatic by into semifinals in the next Winner Winner Chicken Dinner tournament.

Tournament orgaizers reserve the right to refuse entry into the tournament to any player they deem a risk to the safety of other players and the integrity of the tournament. 

Cheating  will not be tolerated, this includes map hacking, stream sniping or any other action tournament oragizers deem to be cheating.
