 Time/Date- Swiss Rounds- Friday, March 27th - Thursday, April 16th

                         Top Cut - Saturday, April 18th - Thursday, April 30th

This tournament follows the Official Ciphercord House Rules for gamplay. This can be found within the Cipher Resources in the discord server.

Everyone is given 4 days to contact and play their opponent each round. I'm going to be pretty strict on deadlines. If you do not complete your round before 11:59 PM MST on the last day it will be considered a double loss. Disqualifications will be given to unresponsive players if matches are not played by the end of the given time.

This Tournament will be played in two portions-
 5 rounds of Swiss to determine Top Cut, and a Single Elimination Conquest style Top Cut

Standard Format- B05, P05, S07 and onward are legal for use in this tournament.

 Each player decides on MC at the start of the round, there is no MC or deck lock between rounds. During a round however, there is no deck editing allowed. The same deck must be played for all 3 games. 

Private hosting your rounds is not allowed for this tournament. I am adamant about this. Tournaments played in real life are not played in secret. I feel this is an attempt to gain an edge over other opponents and it will not be allowed. Rounds played in a private room will not be considered eligible and will result in a double loss. That being said, if you are spectating, do not chat in the room. These are tournament rounds, so please be respectful of the players. If you are chatting or commenting unnecessarily, you may be asked to leave the room.

When determining top cut, the total of your opponent's victories (excluding the lowest scoring opponent) will be your tiebreaker score when a tiebreaker is needed. Be advised, this is not represented in Challonge.

During the time frame of October 24th - October 26th all Top Cut qualifiers will need submit 3 decklists to me. Each deck must have a different MC. (ie- A different named cost 1 for each deck.)

The top cut portion of this tournament will be played in 3 rounds. The top 8 players of the swiss portion will be  paired together in a Single Elimination Best of 5 Conquest style bracket. Decks may not be changed at all during this time. If a change has been made to a deck, it will result in immediate disqualification. Once a MC has won a game, it is no longer usable for the remainder of the round.

The round begins with both players announcing their 3 MCs.

Top Cut Attendance- If you qualify for the top cut portion of the tournament, but will be unable to play the entirety of your matches, please notify the tournament organizer before January 2nd. Your position will be filled by the next qualifying player. Dropping from the top cut portion without notification may result in loss of eligibility for any future set release tournaments.

If a player disconnects and the game is unable to be recovered, the disconnecting player forfeits the game. To recover a lost game go to menu>revert to autosave 1/2. I recommend saving your games often to prevent any disputes. Menu>save game.

If both players disconnect, the game is reset.
